Aduro’s visit to Aynur and family

Like so many others, the Barut Ciechanowski family lives a modern family life, where both parents work and their three children go to daycare or preschool. Every day someone needs to shop, cook and read bedtime stories, and the weekdays fly by until the weekend arrives.

Aduro has had a chat with Aynur, the family’s mother, who says that the family spends as much time as possible together in the weekend. In particular, they enjoy “slow mornings, where we can bring our pillows and duvets into the living room while the wood-burning stove is lit – which happens often on cold days,” she says.

The family’s living room is decorated sparsely, with a large sectional sofa that points towards the TV and with a wood-burning stove in the middle of the wall, so that the warmth and fire can be enjoyed across the entire room. This truly sets the scene for quality time.

A great match with the Nordic style of décor

The wood-burning stove, which is actually a hybrid stove, is the Aduro H3 Lux model, and we are curious as to why the family chose this model.

Aynur tells us that the model’s design and expression was the first that she and her husband, Jacek, fell for. “It had to be modern and simple in its expression. We both felt that the two glass sides and the glass front door were very elegant.”

And, naturally, the stove’s design had to fit the couple’s style of décor. Because nothing is left to chance in that matter. We see that clearly when we get a tour of their bungalow, where the bright colour nuances and natural materials recur from room to room. Even the children’s rooms look like something out of a home magazine.

“Our style of décor is very simple and minimalistic – but with love for the Nordic style, which blends in nature, consisting of wooden wall panels and furniture, a dark-green colour for the sofa, and so on,” says Aynur.

A combination of function and design

Each element in the home has been chosen according to the requirement that it should fit into the style and play a functional role in their daily lives. We like that concept: that the elements you choose in your home should have an important function that makes your daily life easier.

The hybrid stove was selected based on the same criteria: “The stylish design means that it fits perfectly into the room with the rest of our furniture, and then the hybrid function and app control are also very advantageous,” explains Aynur.

The stove can be controlled by an app, which allows you to set the times you want the stove to ignite automatically with pellets, and the family uses this every day. They have set the stove to start one hour before they get up and one hour before they come home from work, so that their house is nice and warm in the morning and evening.

It is a really easy way to do it. In their words: “Then we don’t have to open the door and use matches, and with small children in the house, it adds an element of safety.”

The hybrid stove offers flexibility in their daily life

Even if the family also enjoys using real wood in the stove, they could never dream of going back to a regular wood-burning stove again.

The comfort in being able to wake up to a warm living room, ignite it from work or let the stove burn with pellets over night on a cold winter’s night are some of the things that make a hybrid stove smart and offer flexibility to a busy family with young children.
